Keisha Watching with Laura

Hi y'all!
When I first saw this little bit of digi art, I thought, maybe she's listening to music...
no words this time, just music. Maybe the crickets or birds are giving her a little concert.
I was taught to read notes when I was little in school. Not the best at it, (that was a REALLY long time ago!) but it is nice to look at these notes and know the tune of what song I see with a little effort.

Keisha Watching, new from Jehanne
Colored with Copics on plain old copy paper, made little swirls in her wings with a white gel pen
Rhinestones from Michaels bargain bin, iridesent heart from stash
Used blue sky paper for background stuck to ATC made from a pizza box
Been using music pages in my work the past couple of weeks. Pretty much the same songbook that took it's last trip into some snow. Watch for it, there's sure to be more!

Thanks so much for visiting today!
Love, Laura

  1. What a pretty card, Laura - that's cool that you can read notes, I never did learn that and always wished I could. I always wanted to play the guitar, believe it or not! :) xoxo

  3. Hi, Laura,
I love your card!! The sheet music gives a lovely warm feeling to your card. I had to smile when I saw it because I have a very old music book that I plan to use in my paper-crafting, too. In fact, I took it out today and tried to work it into one of my cards, but it just didn't happen. I hope I can use it as effectively as you have.! Awesome post!!!
